EVERMORE and more confirmed for The Big Exo Day 2010!!!

Thursday, July 08, 2010

Hey guys and girls!

The team at Youth Alive have been working hard to bring you what I believe will be the best Big Exo Day ever… and I know there have been rumours of another guest announcement…  And here it is! We are excited to announce our headliners for this year’s Big Exo Day!

Having relocated from New Zealand to Australia, a band of brothers debuted on the music scene with their record ‘Dreams’. With many of their hits going massive globally, and even featured on tv shows like the OC and others, they've definitely made their mark. Maybe you’ve heard their sounds play on the radio: think 'Running', 'Ride on', ‘Light Surrounding You’, ‘Between the Lines’, or ‘Hey Boys and Girls’. Oh yes, we are pleased to present to you our main stage headliner for the Big Exo Day 2010… EVERMORE!!!

It doesn't stop there, we have the winners of Australia’s Got Talent 2010 - Justice Crew! They’re gonna be bringing something pretty epic to our Hip Hop stage. You don’t want to miss out. Also from this year’s Australia’s Got Talent series: Aimee Elizabeth will be joining the stage to wow us with her amazing opera sounds.

And as you may already know, we also have coming Mike Pilavachi from Soul Survivor, Preston Centuolio, both fantastic and gifted communicators, Australian Idol winner Stan Walker and from the US, Everyday Process. Not to mention, Australia’s own Hillsong United have been touring the globe, and they're making it to The Big Exo Day just for us! Check out a full list of our confirmed guests here.

This year’s Big Exo Day will be better than ever! In celebrating the weeks leading up, why not hold an Exo Day at your own school. It’s run for students by students – you can hold a BBQ, giveaways, games, music, anything! So if you planning an Exo day, make sure you register it on our website. We’d love for you to write back to us about your Exo Day and how it goes.

With all this exciting news and just under three months till the date, you gotta get your tickets fast! The premium sections are selling out quickly. You can purchase cheaper tickets if you buy them online by September 17 at 10pm. After that it’s $45 at the gates.

So get pumped and let the people in your world know about The Big Exo Day, and bring them along! Don’t forget to follow the Big Exo day for updates on Facebook and Twitter. We are excited about what’s ahead and looking forward to seeing you there!

Youth Alive Regional Youth Leaders Gathering

Thursday, November 13, 2008
It's a new day. Barack Obama is in Presidency and never before has there been so much unity with in our state across every region in NSW. Last week we all gathered all of our regional leaders together for what was a significant day in the history of Youth Alive down at Darling Harbour. There was lots of good times, and great vision set for next year for Youth Alive. Everyone is passionate about what we can achieve working together to really make our mark on this generation€ I think our regions are the strongest they have ever been As well as great friendships beginning, and with the views of Darling Harbour, Pitt Street Mall window shopping, and the Imax movies, all in one day, why wouldn't there be. This is our time to take the Kingdom forward with a young generation leading the way! Make sure your apart of everything that€s happening

visit to QLD:

Well i have been up in the mountains of QLD, thats right to a little place near the town of Boonah. Not much happens at Boonah, just cow watching, tree sitting, cat patting, and fly swatting. Im not sure why the guys didn't organize the camp near, lets say.... The Beach, or some surf, or the Coast? but hey, i can understand that we all make mistakes, don't we boys... But none the less i was up there with about 300 passionate maniacs for God... and thankfully he did show up and we had a crazy good time... And boys put down those cow paddies, it's not chocolate...

Keep Living the Dream...

Sanga at the Sunshine Coast

Tuesday, April 08, 2008

Well I'm in the mountains on the beautiful Sunshine Coast where the weather is beautiful one day and rainy the next... I am hanging with Ignition Youth Ministry - a part of South Side Church Brisbane... Ben Higgons is the front man & commander of his young troops.. He and his new wife Emily (just married - who represented Aus for being a Gymnist) are just Legendary Youth Pastors...And they have a great diet of steak and chips, which I have been happy to adapt to..

All of the Young People are so hungry for God in every way... The second night of camp there were a lot of tears for young people as they were on their knees desperate for God... So cool...

The fancy dress 80's Op shop night was something to behold... My favourite contestant was a young guy wearing nothing but a tight pair of ruggers, and had wrapped him self in a persion rug.. But he was quite a hairy boy, and it was hard to see the difference between his chest hair and rug hair.. He was the walking carpet boy, the real Chewbacca...

However Paper Mashay Man was a worthy contestant as well... He was completely covered in wet paper that went solid.. He has become the 8th Wonder of the World...

Waking up this morning, pump factor got the better of one young innocent Yr8 girl, as she drunk a mixture of juice, sugar, vegimite, egg, and who knows what else... No youth camp is without this experience where one loan student boldly goes where her friends won't...

But aside from all the Craziness, God is moving in QLD, I know that's hard to believe, but he really is.. I think QLD is like Gods Compassion Child, and I have been blessed by the South Side Youth Ministry, they are fired up and passionate to make an impact in their schools for Jesus Christ... Go for it guys...

Keep Living the Dream... Peace Sanga
