WHY WE EXIST...
Youth Alive NSW is a ministry that exists to run programs that reach and appeal to the Youth Generation, pushing the boundaries of Youth Culture, and showing young people, that life is excellent with Jesus. Our programs and events aim to provide an alternative to other events where drugs and alcohol are present. We aim to provide an environment where young people feel safe and can explore their creativity.
For many years, Youth Alive NSW has resourced, supported and equipped youth ministries, youth leaders, youth pastors, youth organizations, schools, and young people from all across our state.
VISION...
A ministry of influence, running large scale events, reaching young people, impacting high schools, unifying youth ministries, equipping youth pastors, and becoming a leader in youth culture in Australia and throughout the world.
MISSION...
To reach the youth generation with the message of Jesus Christ, through running large scale events and resourcing the Local Church.

You could say Sanga is a typical surfy bloke from Newcastle but apart from surfing he has a real gift with youth. He's an incredible leader and teen comunicator. Yes that's right he is the big man; the State Director of Youth Alive. We are honoured and privileged to have Sanga as the State Director as he has lots of vision for the future and an incredible heart for the youth. Sanga is one of the funniest guys around, he is full of incredible stories and good times. But on a serious note Sanga is an amazing man with a lot of talent. Sanga is taking Youth Alive to new heights. You can only expect things to get better when Sanga's in control.

In the beginning was Sandra. Sandra was before all things and all things that are, are because of Sandra. She is an unstoppable organisational force that is the powerhouse behind all the events we hold here at Youth Alive, and is the mother of all organisations anywhere in the world ever. She is also the mother of a little boy, Evander, and wife to husband of the year, Dan...oh, and somehow finds time to be passionate about her beloved football team St George...Sandra is one of kind...where would we be without Sandra??
jared harries operations coordinator
One of the latest additions to the Youth Alive Crew, Jared handles all the finances, looks after the Youth Alive interns, is Sanga's PA and pretty much does whatever it is the rest of us doesn't do. Some believe he was pretty much born for the job. Alongside his work here at Youth Alive, Jared is also a key leader in his local youth ministry and we are so pumped that to have him on the team!
LISE CAMPBELL EVENTS COORDINATOR
Lise soon-to-not-be-Campbell (she's getting married next year!) is our new Events Coordinator. While Sandra is on maternity leave, Lise will be holding down the fort and taking Youth Alive and our events to new heights, and will be staying on when Sandra gets back! Although most of her time outside of work consists of wedding plans and deciding what colour to paint her new home, she loves a good book, loves to dance and is a pretty good swimmer too.
HEATHER STEVENS MARKETING ASSISTANT
After doing the Southern Cross College (now Alphacrucis) and Youth Alive Internship in 2008, Heather is now working in the Marketing Department at Youth Alive. She's kind of like Sandra's little helper and is the one that sends you those emails. She also oversees all event promo so if you need some, you know where to go! Heather is also a leader in her local youth ministry and loving it! And if you want to make her really smile, just give her some earl grey tea and anything from Pokemon and Totoro.
DARREN MCMAHON YOUTH SPEAKER & HIGH SCHOOLS COORDINATOR
Darren is passionate about high schools. He lives, breathes, sleeps, and dreams of high school ministry. He is one of the most incredible communicaters to young people with a heart to see them reach their full potential. Darren also works with our regional coordinators to see more and more youth ministries have an impact in schools.
LUKE PAA YOUTH SPEAKER & HIGH SCHOOLS
Luke Paa is the most talented man on the whole planet. He is the full package. This man can break dance, he can sing, he can play any instrument, he's funny, he can preach, he could even back flip for you. There is no one more talented then Luke Paa. We are proud to have Luke on our team and we are excited to see all the amazing things he will accomplish in Youth Alive and in our state.
BRETT MURRAY YOUTH SPEAKER & HIGH SCHOOLS
With 19 years experience in speaking to youth in high schools, youth ministries, colleges and universities, Chippa, as he is otherwise known, is an electrifying speaker and author who impacts, empowers and entertains everyone. He's been called a real 'firecracker', and when you hear him you'll know why. Brett is especially passionate about reaching young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and has a unique ability to engage and inspire young people from all different spheres and walks of life.
